Tell me more.....

Who will I see?
You will be seen by a specialist travel pharmacist who has up-to-date knowledge of travel medicine, disease processes and malaria prevention.

What do I need to bring?
Bring any past vaccination history you have.

What to expect on arrival?
You will be given a travel consultation form to fill in, if you haven't already filled in online, which will take some information about you and your planned trip(s). Your pharmacist will then speak to you about your planned trip(s), previous and current health and provide you with any travel vaccine advice you need.

When should I come?
Ideally 4-6 weeks before travel enabling you to complete any course (rabies vaccination, hepatitis B vaccination, jap encephalitis vaccination or cholera vaccination). If you are not intending to do any course and need only a booster then 14 days before is sufficient. Last minute: It is always good to come even if it is one day before travel as we can still vaccinate you and give you advice and malaria tablets (if required). Yellow fever vaccination requires 10 days before travel - for full immunity ideally (vaccination still provided if less then 10 days).

What certificates do I receive?
We provide certificates for yellow fever and meningitis ACWY (for the Haj, Mecca, Umrah). You will also receive a vaccination record card for any vaccinations we give you. All included in the price of vaccination.

Do we provide malaria tablets?
Yes, you need to come and see us for a consultation, there are many different choices of tablet for different areas. You can look to see if there is a risk of malaria at your destination at www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk, select the country and go to the malaria map.

How much does it cost?
For a list of vaccination and tablet prices please refer to our 'prices' section. The consultation is free.

Can I get any further information?
Either call us (0161 870 6546) or email us, alternatively our clinic is full of travel and travel vaccine advice. This gives you information about the jabs you have just had and things to consider when travelling.
